"smiling doesn't win you gold medals." the thing is that you are doing a dance performance and every detail counts. it could have made a difference if she smiled, made funny faces, made ugly faces or things like that. and why is it so sexist to anyways? she has a beautiful smile after all.

I'm a tomboy. I hardly ever wear makeup and I would rather wear an oversized hoodie than a skimpy dress. Because I'm a female my friends and even family tell me that I shouldn't be the way I am because I'm a girl. I enjoy woodwork and cadets and multiple times I've heard my family say "woodwork and the army is a man's job". Yet I recall woman in the first and second world war working in the land army getting down and dirty doing a 'man's job'

Ok I think its just weird when they show too much of there skin bc there r freaks out there that stare at their body all day and that’s why I dont like it when men and woman show to much skin but that’s just my option not to be rude or anything.

Ariana Grande was correct. Hell I don't even wear make-up. I watch Anime all day, play basketball, beat up boys in my school (I beat them with chairs sometimes they picked me up and slammed me and I got back up dusted it off and we kinda destroyed a whole classroom and had to apologize together we became friends after that but our parents weren't too happy)and study the Korean/ Japanese language. If you wonder why I study Korean and Japanese is because I would like to become an animator if my forensic science and studying decomposed bodies carrier doesn't work. I draw a lot of manga and anime characters I drew Goku from DBZ, Asta from Black Clover, Natsu from Fairy Tail, and Naruto from Naruto Shippuden and Shounen Jump. I also drew Realistic people Like Beethoven and Mozart….I play piano a lot…….. I am what you call an anime noob, piano freak, and a masculine female……… I am just me. 😜

The question for me would be if you had to choose between 2 things would it be to give up on watching anime forever or give up on playing C.O.D, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter forever XD.

I remember the thing Zendeya posted where she only had makeup on one side of her face.

  19. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

Well, as much as sexism sucks, men deal with some, too. If you’re about equality you have to support it from both sides.

  20. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

I didn't know asking someone to smile more was sexist the more you know i guess😕

  29. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

    Ari and Emma are queens!

  30. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

Some of these are amazing and good tips for responses to sexism! Some of them were not sexist comments and some of them were not calling out sexism in response. E.g. emma watson's photoshoot – that was criticising her feminism not sexism. Ariana's response is not calling out sexism well. The rest are epic

  31. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

    Ariana nd emma slayed it💜

  32. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

All of this is very super yes and I love all these people.

  33. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

I don’t get how Taylor Swift read into that. I’ve seen people talk about how Jason Derulo, Ed Sheeran, etc. wrote too much about their exes also. I’m kinda confused.

  34. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

    These girls are actually amazing

  35. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

  42. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

I feel like some men DON'T realize what they are saying. Come on. Cut them some slack.

  43. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm

    The Simone Biles one…….wasn't sexist.

  44. August 26, 2018 at 3:44 pm
